If they develop for XP, their programs can run on all of those. Sure, some Windows users may upgrade, but it won't have any long term effect and bring little revenue to Microsoft. MS Office 12 will run on XP, so where's the need to upgrade?Philipphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11868419706185841126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11040200.post-1146107229446047122006-04-27T04:07:00.000+01:002006-04-27T04:07:00.000+01:00Wait, are you saying that since 3-6% of the market...Wait, are you saying that since 3-6% of the market won't use Vista, that it will motivate the rest of the PC industry to boycott the entire system? I'm a dedicated Mac user, and as much influence as Steve Jobs may have in the industry, I hightly doubt that he can influence Windows users to boycott a new operating system.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11040200.post-1145988887851171292006-04-25T19:14:00.000+01:002006-04-25T19:14:00.000+01:00Windows 2000 is what we use, if any Windows flavou...Windows 2000 is what we use, if any Windows flavour.Philipphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11868419706185841126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11040200.post-1145975744219477262006-04-25T15:35:00.000+01:002006-04-25T15:35:00.000+01:00I can't help but remember when people were stating...I can't help but remember when people were stating that XP would never rival Windows 2000. Do you really believe what you're saying? Are you choosing to ignore Microsoft's tactical abilities?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
